The Gospel for the day

MESSAGE :Decision Making

Decision making means making choices from among multiple choices.

What you decide determines your fruit or your outcome. When you make good choices, it will reflect in your future. When you make bad choices too, you reap bad results. Let refer to the Bible as it testifies about a decision one woman by name Ruth made, and what it caused her into.

The Book of Ruth 1;

“1Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

2And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.

3And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

4And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

5And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

6Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab:  for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.

7Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.”

The hasty decision of Naomi and her family to escape hunger to death led her loosing her husband and sons instead . Before a circumstance, what decision do you take? Is it divinely from God or from the advise of man.

Consider these three(3) keys and let divinity influence your steps.

1.Waiting Upon God;

Do you wait for the right time of God for your deliverance or you jump up astray and end up in a mess? If Naomi had waited a bit longer, she wouldn’t have lost all she had. Wait upon God. When God is still not speaking, learn to understand the language of Silence. His silence is preparing your breakthrough that will surprise you unaware.

2.Pray To Your GOD;

According to1st Samuel 1:1-18;

David through prayer, sought after GOD to  help him recover the captive wives and children of he and his soldiers.

GOD approved his decision to go find them and there was victory.

You need approval from GOD before you make a step. In your marriage, life, business, finances, and many more; what is GOD saying about it?

Don’t just jump to make a decision. Wait for GOD to speak. He can speak to you through your dreams, through a prophet or through HIS words in the Holy Bible.

3.Seek The Wisdom Of GOD;

All good thing cometh from above. Don’t ever rely upon your own wisdom, or the recommended advise of others.

James 1:5;“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

Whatever advise you need to battleout a situation, you need to ask GOD. HIS wisdom surpasses all other advise. Not even the wisdom of professors and scholars can even save you in your most critical situation like that of GOD’s. The wisdom of GOD will make you better off compared to before. Others will come forth to seek ways and directions from you and they will excel.

My Prayer for you today, is that may GOD grant you the grace and insight to seeking him before making a decision. And may HE not hesitate to respond to you and teach you HIS perfect ways for your blessing sake,  in JESUS CHRIST mighty name, Amen

God bless you that you will decide to wait, pray and seek wisdom from HIM before you make decisions, and your life will be a blessing.
