RESTORE DAILY DOSE WITH PASTOR PRINCE
THE GOD OF BROKEN WALLS
Text: Amos 9:11-12
"On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which was fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does this thing."
God been a covenant keeper promised David that one of David's descendants would always sit on his throne (2 Samuel 7:12-16).
Considering how terrible their situation, this promise seem impossible, "on that day" God would raise up and restore the kingdom to its promised glory. This was a promise to both Israel and Judah, not to be fulfilled by earthly, political ruler, but by the Messiah, who would renew the spiritual kingdom and rule forever.
"In mercy the throne will be established; and one will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, Judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness." (Acts 6:15-16).
God is ever faithful and every word that proceed out of His mouth will come to pass because they are intentional. For us as believers, we just need to bear in mind that no matter the situation, the God that ensured the tabernacle of David was rebuilt and ruin cities restored, is able to come through for you.
You might be asking how possible is this, looking at how bad things are currently, but know that Our God specializes in hopeless cases, so that the attention is turned from you towards HIM who is the "doer".
God's mercy will prevail over judgement on your behalf and cause you to experience divine restoration that your comeback will cause many around you to be astonished because of how swift God takes you out from obscurity into prominence.
Hear me friends, I have learnt from my little experience working with God that, He will always lead the righteous through the deep, as a horse in the wilderness that they might not stumble. Our God is always on the look out for any man that is willing to stay faithful till the end.
"There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border" (Jeremiah 31:17).
That challenge will not kill you and so do not give up on God. Be rest assured that your celebration is just at the corner and so, wait, stay on, be resolute that your season of restoration has come and surely your testimony shall shake the foundations of the earth.
Shalom.
